Thank you for the input. That is the song I had heard and I relly enjoyed the sitar guitar but I also found a version by Dezi Donnelly and Mike McGoldrick that was great and is on u tube.
I recently heard a nice tune that I would like to learn does anyone know the source of this and or have the music for it? Someone told me the title was Kishors or Kishors tune.
Kilkelly Ireland ranks at the top for me
I know you rider by The seldom Scene
Has any mandolin ever sold for 500,000?
My wife hates it that I will whistle a tune over and over again without realizing what I am doing. She may have a point.
Another one by Tim O'Brien:" The Battle Hymn of Love", And sing it like you mean it. Kathy Mattea sings a beautiful version.
I've seen Mike Marshall many times and he has always been great. He will be on the California central coast in late September with Choro Famoso. Should be another great show.
Can anyone recommend a source for traditional celtic music?
I like it. I have always had a difficult time listening to a metronome for more than a couple of measures and the feel of the body beat solved that problem.
I appreciate the frustration of those within signal range of DC however for the rest of us a 24hr bluegrass station that is far better than sirius or xm is more than wonderful.
Can anybody recommend an online tuner that is accurate?
