    Re: Minneapolis March

This video did not help rid me of my irrational desire to found a mandolin orchestra in my city. Quite the contrary! Great work, thanks for posting.

    Re: Seagull S8 Owners Thread

I put new strings on my recently reacquired Flatrion 1N yesterday and had an extra set of GHS A250 strings so I decided to try them on my S8. I had D'addario J73s on before and I like the light...

The tailpiece cover on my TC octave was very difficult to remove. In the video I posted above a coin is used, but you can also use a cloth or something that allows you to apply pressure to both sides...

    Re: Blue chip picks

Just got my TAD 40 in the mail. I think I had one of these years ago and did not like how bright the sound was, but I am loving it now as a complement to my CT 55 and my TAD 60 with no bevel.

    I...

Yeah, I was thinking it is interesting that only BC that is thinner than a 40 is the TD 35. I bet they would do a custom TAD 35 for you.

Couldn't resist bumping this thread, the granddaddy of the BC threads. I've got a TAD 40 on the way, adding to my TAD 60 and CT55. Used to have a TAD 80, and a TAD 100. That thing was a monster,...
