Does anyone know how to import a PDF into scanscore to convert it to XML so I can edit it in Musescore?
So I discovered this German company that produces some cool music software. I first found Scanscore (I have another post on that), which lets you scan in music which is cool for creating more parts...
She's so confident while playing, and crazy talented!
This is beautiful - plus I love that you filmed it in a forest!
It's so pretty!
JL277z, thanks for sharing Chordpulse, I'd never heard of it!
I'm also glad to know I'm not the only one who finds musescore clunky. I downloaded Forte while they had a free trial deal going, and...
I prefer reading notes to tablature (I learned notes first), and so I've been trying to find a notation software I like. (Musescore is too clunky for me, and sibelius is too expensive). Ran across...
The little moment at 0:53 was cute
I love seeing historical documents about women of color playing music - it's super cool!
Does anyone know if bandora is any good?
Here's the link if anyone needs it: https://bandora.com/en/

Does anyone of you know ScanScore? Is it worth the money? I just received a $20 voucher for it, but I don't know if it's a good deal. The product demo looks nice and it seems to do the job. But in...
I knew of a woman in central Pennsylvania who would refurbish old mandolins, they sounded so much better than most of the store-bought ones you could get for a comparable price
John McGann also has some celtic mandolin recordings if you're interested in listening to those!
Here's the sheet music, which you could find instructions for converting to TAB. https://www.fiddlevideo.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/Canada%20Day%20Swing.pdf
I agree that Webb's and the Music Exchange are two good ones. International Vintage Guitars can be kind of cool if they have something you're interested in, but otherwise it'll be about a five-minute...
I'm guessing it won't fit, but check the website for the dimensions that are allowed under the seat. Also, most airports have a little display near the entrance or your gate that works kind of like...
