I really like the dual-rail humbucker sound, it gives a very balanced string response across all the strings.
Almuse makes a single-coil pickup I've tried, they also sound great & very balanced.

Here is our latest 5-string e-mando. Burl walnut top, semi-hollow body, rosewood
fretboard with maple neck. It now resides on Oklahoma.
