    It has a warm tone, but a little more bright than my Morgan Monroe mahogany A-style (lighter top than that one), and the action is really low and quick. Still need to put the new strings on... then...

    I purchased this mandolin recently on eBay, as a "vintage mahogany mandolin." Does anyone have any idea where it might have come from? no label inside--the seller acquired it at an estate sale.
