Thank you for the heads up....I bought 6 humidpacks last spring and just checked on them....one is leaking like a sieve! Thank God I hadn't put it in the case.

My ex made a fortune buying, selling, instruments, but he got into it long ago. His secret was knowing how to unearth all those classic pieces from under beds and closets - and he was a master of it...
Tom's dead on. Furnace on = humidify or die. In case type work best for me.
A good friend/luthier says he looks forward to the cold dry winters because it put's more food on the table.

In their day they were state of the art...I've acquired two with a vintage guitar/mando purchases. Both had latch and inside piling issues, but that may of come from wear. One also developed...

It's never too late my dear....I've taught an elderly couple in my town the guitar and mandolin. And now they make sweet music together.
