I have one of those 70s 018Ts and I think the "dread" is a bum rap. Plays and intones as it should.

Must agree with the above. Years ago you would hear people from his generation say: None Better. They would also speak of "The Carty Flow." He made another recording with Conner Tully on fiddle....
John Pearse Tenor Guitar set #450 Elderly and no doubt most dealers of any size. .013 to .042 A good place to begin.

I have an Access case from a few years back. I got it for an 018T after small children dismantled the original chipboard case. I got the Access on clearance, and I can't now find that exact model on...
Looks like Elderly has something serviceable for a tenor. You should also look at Access Three Case Co. Beyond that, I don't know. Good luck with your search.

Will have to check this out. I was there in 1980. Magic!

I'd like to thank everybody involved here. Because this was reposted, I followed the link to the Clare Library and listened to the entire tape. And surprise, numbers 13 through 17 are almost...
Great stuff, Sean! That is some tall company.

Yes. Elderly.com
John Pearse Set #450. There is also a custom set from GHS at Elderly but I haven't tried them. Hope this helps.

Agreed. For convenience John Pearse makes a tenor guitar set #450 at .042, .030, .020, .013 They are good on my tenor.

Thanks, JC. The wonderful and enigmatic world of USPS.
Larry
Thanks for the update, but very curious about the problem with USPS. Can you illuminate?
Thanks,
Larry
Thanks, again. I missed seeing that one, entirely. Saved some money, too. ;-)
It's a lot of $$ to put out for something you haven't touched.
Larry
Thanks. Do you know the Reverb asking price? The last one I found was in Singapore... and I'm not going there.

My only experience is that I can't find one to have an experience. I'm interested in your results. Thanks for posting.
