    I persuaded LMI to slot guitar boards from both ends, to get 2 mandolin boards from each. You do have to check length, scale and # of frets carefully.

    I make my own these days, but the ones from Stew-Mac and LMI are both perfectly nice in terms of wood quality and accuracy.

    Buy them direct from Watlow for half the price of all the folks like Blues Creek and LMII and the rest. They just buy them and then double the price at your expense. You can build a nice controller...
