    Have you considered a small Martin? They recently reissued the 5-15T. There also used vintage 1927-1933 small Martin tenor guitars that are blessed with big sound and small bodies.

    When I used nylon strings on the tenor banjo, I used a set of Worth Clears and tuned it dGBE. I am using the Thomastik Infield wounds on my tenor ukuleles with Worth Clear on the two E and A strings.

    I'm giving serious consideration to re-homing my early Martin 2-18 Tenor. I have to check the serial number but I know it is from 1927-29. I have no idea how to establish the value of the instrument....
