    Here is the extended neck (maple), with the original heel sawn off.
    The neck is made of local Boekenhout ( Rapanea melanophloeos)

    Mr Jacobs, I would recommend you go to a music shop in Pretoria, either Menlynn Centre or Centurion and try a few first. They are mostly ply wood tops, but see how you go.

    Thanks, in the picture bottom left we even have a small portable reed organ.
    The instruments take turns to lead, and the other is comping, etc, while the audience dances.
