    I've had a quick play with the free version of tabledit & it seems OK. I'm going to explore it a little further. Ultimately I think that learning to read sheet music will be best in the long run but...

    Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have a leather strap on my Eastman but not on the cheapo one that I am using to learn on. I think an arm rest & tone guard may help. I'll look into this.
