Re: Electric amps with acoustic mandos

Thanks. Sometimes I forget that there’s not really a right way most of the time. Just gotta try it out. Thank you all for the information and encouragement.

Re: Electric amps with acoustic mandos

All these answers are super helpful! Thank you.

My band is still primarily acoustic with no drums. So I might have to hunt for a small tube amp if I’m trying to get break up and avoid blasting...

Re: Electric amps with acoustic mandos

Thanks for the input! Talking impedance: I’m using a red eye twin to go into the PA currently. I was thinking of using the efx loop as my output instead of the xlr and going into an amp from there....

    Hey folks,
I just upgraded and bought my first nice American made mandolin, Flatiron A. It came with a nice heavy hard case. But honestly I kind of miss my old foam case with backpack straps. It is...
  12. Humidify mandolins hanging on the walls

    Hey folks,
I've always tried to humidify my high quality instruments, guitars and mandolins. They've almost exclusively lived in the cases. But now I'd like to hang them in the walls for space and...
