    When I bought my reissue 4 string when they first came out, a soft case was available through fender. I got one. Fits well and protects it. Lots of storage too. I jazzed mine up with a moongazer...

    I meant the heel end of the neck.. I usually cut the 6 degree on the end while it's still in billet form, hence my term neck block.Just wasn't thinking.

    I use the siminoff joint and cut the 6 degrees on the end of the neck block. Straight through 90 degrees on the body cutout. Works just fine.

    Check the truss rod nut, if it has one it could be loose. I've had them buzz because they had backed off and created a buzz.
