My G-110's top self failed catastrophically. Since Rigel's are not constructed like any other mandolin, I'd like to get a set of plans and/or a contour map of a G-110 or a CT-110 to help with the...
You can also use TablEdit to do this as well.
Those are beautiful. Great job!
Maybe one of these would work for you: https://www.daddario.com/products/accessories/strap-accessories/cinchfit/cinchfit-acoustic-jack-lock/
Gold Tone is carrying replacement Rigel style tailpieces again.

I personally write out what I want in ABC format into a text file. Then, I import that into TablEdit to get tabs.
I’m pretty sure that Mandolin Bros. shut down years ago.
Try:
Index - Fret 1&2
Middle - 3
Ring - 4
Pinky - 5&6
In reality you're gonna have to think a lot about shifting your hand position up (and down).

There used to be Mandolin Magazine. They went out of business seven years ago.
I just checked with Gold Tone about Rigel style tailpieces. They are out of them.
Hi Annette,
This is very kind of you.
To honor your art, and help support your offer to others, I've just bought the book from Apple Books to read to my new grandson.
Thanks,
Pete
I'll add Gary Lewandowski (Cedar Mountain Mandolins ). He just made this one for me.

Another word for this idea of swing is "Lift". You might have better luck finding some info using this as a search term instead of swing.
Basically Irish music is dance music. Lift is the pulse...
Woot!!
Ensure that you have you have the Impact "Fingerings" checkbox selected. This is in the Score->Instument dialog box under the Tuning tab. This is how you change the tab and not the notes.
Also,...
Yeah, I own that F as well. I bought that from Gary a few years back.
Gary Lewandowski of Cedar Mountain Mandolin has sent me a few shots of a new GBOM he's making for me.

It's gonna be the big sister to this mandolin.

My guess (and only a guess) is that the nut string slot is a little tight. I has one mandolin that produced a tinny (on the A string no less) sound for this reason.

Use a set of D’Addario Octave Mandolin strings. That’s what I use on my Mandola.
They're not dead yet.

Sarah might like different gauges than those found in standard sets. That is probably why she she is using guitar strings (most likely bought individually). I have a zouk and and an octave. I like...
I’m sure that this has been asked before, but, is there any chance of getting monel guitar strings from D’Addario? I’ve got an old jazz box that is crying out for them.
I know that Martin makes...
And, one post by Marty shows how much I don’t know about any of this.
I know what those words mean individually but not when they are put together in that order. :^ p
For the trussed, look inside the sound hole. It should be just under the soundboard. It's really hard to get a good look at, so you your fingers to find it.
