    The new Master Model I played at SPBGMA makes me vote yes. It was really nice, sounded great and played smooth as butter.

    Plug your headphones into the smart phone and record that way. I will try the airplane mode and see if its any better.

    I lock, but found it better to use 3 fingers of slack halfway on the fret board. This allows at least 1 full loop around the string post and I tend to play more than I tune.
