    I’m not sure how anyone can say that the pic with Garcia is a 30’s mandolin. All we can see for sure is that it’s a fern.

    I have spoken to two former members of the Hart Valley Drifters and Worth Handley did in fact own a Loar. It’s been confirmed to my satisfaction. I just got off the phone with his son 5 minutes ago....

    The mans son knows he has no legal position in regard to ownership. Heís hoping to make a settlement that would be fair to the current owner too. Hard spot to be in. I feel for the family.

    Jim, yes I’m going to have an ivory pickgaurd too.
    Kevin, this instrument will be for sale. I built it because I wanted to. I’m very pleased with how it’s turning out.
    I should hear it by years end.

    Looking for a piece big enough for 1 picguard for an octave mandolin. Axiom (James Tailpiece) sells it but only in 64Ē lengths, way more than I need.
