Gibson EM-1235 with TWO MANDOLIN NECKS

    Freaky.

i've seen these with a standard guitar neck and a mandolin neck, or a tenor guitar neck and a mandolin neck.

This appears to have an 8-string mandolin neck and a 4-string mandolin...

You are not allowed to sell instruments or promote your sales here in the forum. It is quite unnecessary to ask forum viewers to look at your ad; the ads get plenty of eyeballs already.

    Or a pet ferret.

Eastwood also has some standard mandolins, such as the Mandocaster and the Ricky. I don't know whether you prefer 4 strings or 8.
The Godin is great but may be too loud. There...

Re: Some Questions on New Purchase

Nice. I have a 19" acoustic octave mandolin and actually use heavier gauges for GDAE ... but if this set works on an electric, I don't think it's a problem.

Re: EM-150 CL. Pretty fair deal. NFI.

Closeups of the end of the fretboard, particularly the one shot from the treble side, show high action.

Also, it looks like there's just a hole where the pickup jack should be.

Funky logo placement on F4 headstock.

eBay is selling a postcard with this image of mandolinist Violet Pearl and her teens-ish F4.

What puzzles me is the headstock; "The Gibson" is as far away from the edge as I've ever seen it, and...

Re: 1909 A4 Gibson Factory Revamped

Hard to say. There's a little spot of some kind of gunk on the treble side of the soundhole, which could indicate that this was kept in the case for a long time and the pickguard outgassed and fell...

Good eye — yes, on the treble side of the headstock, between the second and third tuners, looks like someone had to fill a screw hole.
