You’re welcome. Joey was the mandolin builder for some time then he worked in the finish department and became the finish dept lead. Mike Coulter would have done the “string up” I’m not sure who was...
It looks like your mandolin was built in 2004. The black gold model was part of the quartz series. Joey Christensen, Angela’s brother in law would have been the Christensen who signed your instrument.
Thanks for all the well wishes! Michelle and I are very excited for the future.
Breedlove doesn’t currently make any mandolins.
Matt,
Yes I work for Weber. 1 7/16” is the depth of the sides, the body structure before the top and back are glued on.
The body depth is 1 7/16” on the Road Dog and Red Rocks models.
I’ve been really enjoying it. Just caught the Traveling McCoury set. There has been a lot of great music.
Great to hear it was such a good show. I’m really looking forward to seeing them in Sisters on Wednesday.
I really enjoy that podcast. They have a great Peter Rowan interview.
I really enjoyed the podcast.
The podcast sounds interesting. I’m looking forward to it.
I received pick sampler #2 today. I am looking forward to playing alot of mandolin. Thanks!
I would like to get on the list. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing the pictures. I went to Roberto-Venn. I appreciate being able to see this unique mandolin.
Your mandolin came with John Pearse strings.
I have found an app called “fret tester” to be a helpful memorization tool to learn the notes on the fretboard.
Congratulations Doug!
I like using the Milwaukee rotary tool.
I agree. I saw him open for the Traveling Mcourys and sit in with them he’s incredible.
Congratulations Tom!
Weber definitely offers 2 and 3 point body shapes as a custom option.
You will need a 1/4" nut driver
