    Bluegrass slide

I feel a little dumb asking this, but when should I add a little slide when playing? I just don't have the feel for it yet. Any tips?

    Re: The steeldrivers cd

This is definately a view of a battleground from a Native Americans perspective. This brave was either watching a battle between the white man or a battle he was actually in. Sticks that made thunder...

Re: Buzzing on G string frets 9-13

Well I took a steel ruler to the frets and they were true. The touch test didn't reveal anything. I showed it to my brother and he said there's nothing I can do, it just happens playing that high on...

Indentation from the Bridge on the Top

I took off my bridge to file the saddle down. There is an indentation where the bridge was seated. This made putting it back in the right spot real easy. I'm wondering if this will cause any harm and...

Re: Buzzing on G string frets 9-13

I tried raising it but it won't get rid of it. I raised it so high that I had to raise the other end to keep going.

Buzzing on G string frets 9-13

I just set up my mandolin and have buzzing on frets 9-13 of the G string. I'm thinking it's a problem with the frets but don't know how to handle it. Any ideas?

OK so I grew a pair and started thinking. I got a sterilized bone that you would give a dog. Made some dust and filled the slot. Then I got a bottle of Crazy Glue Craft, it has an awesome applicator....

    Re: Learning on the Cheap

Well the first tunes I learned were some traditional Irish tunes. They are fun. I want to definately delve into some bluegrass. When I get good try my hand at some jazz.

Re: Middle-of-the road pick for beginner

I use a Dunlop Big Stubby. Nice speed, and tremelo's are pretty easy. I like the pointy tip, feels more accurate. Also the Jaws of Life couldn't pry it out of your fingers.
