    Thank you Chris. The bridge is adjustable with a wrench that I include. The bridge on this one is made from Sonowood maple.211891

    That’s quite a short scale length for a C course. I’d be inclined to use a single string instead of a pair. And it will have to be quite heavy.

    Thanks Derek, the finish is a rosin/amber/mastic/linseed oil varnish. It’s the same stuff I use on all my violin family builds.

    Yes they’re in Roanoke. I was there as well for 7 years until moving to Philadelphia in January. It’s a fun town with a good session, it’s cool you’re from there! Hope you enjoy the octave!
