    I'd have to look back and make sure but I think the F5 style might be 44. The oval hole was built in 2008.

    2 gathright mandolins

    i've recently had the enjoyable task of setting up two of john gathright's mandolins. one is owned by a student the other by a friend/client. both instruments are really fine and a joy to play.

    You are probably already aware of this, but be careful when filing just one fret or you could compound the problem up the neck.
