This looks very similar to a DMM that was in the classifies about a year or so ago..it was located in Germany ,if anybody recalls that mandolin..

I do wrist curls with a weight to strengthen my forearms,,I used to take a 2,3 or 5 lb. Lifting plate and hold it it in my right hand like a pick and start to fan it like tremelo,no mandolin in hand...

Don't forget to use other "tools of expression" such as sliding in and out of notes,hammer on's and pull offs,glissandos,choking,vibrato,altered tremolo beats etc...once you start to utilize these on...

Those look like great mandolins,they don't come up for sale very often..I've always liked the Gibson A/N customs and wouldn't mind one myself.
