    If it is sounding muddy in CGDA you might want to tighten the head a bit. A 17 fret will only sound muddier tuned to OM tuning.

    I am in the same camp as you, I have my Girouard and one I built. Never named cars or instruments. My wife however names her cars and drones, go figure.

    I recently played a Northfield F-5s against a 10K Collings and I thought the Northfield sounded much better. Don't get me wrong, the collings was stunning but in the tone dept the Northfield had it.

    I can not find a whole image of the "guitar" that the Rick Toone bridge is on but that looks like a very ineffective bridge placement to me. Almost zither like. :confused:
