    Re: Kalamazoo serial numbers

I just purchased what I believe is a KM-22 with bound front & back, fretboard and pickguard. But, has the FON 1048D 45 dating to 1938. Maybe early KM-22 or a KM-21 with these options?

Here are a couple of pictures of a Kalamazoo I saw for sale online.

Why would this bridge sit so close to the f-hole? It can't be good for the mandolin can it? Am I missing something?

My copy has yet to arrive at my APO address. We get mail again in three or four days so I'm hopeful.
  14. King of Bluegrass: The Life & Times of Jimmy Martin DVD

They want more than $40 for this DVD on Amazon and it's a used one. Does anyone know where I could pick up a copy for a reasonable price?
