    Recent Kelley mandolin

    Hereís a recent Kelley mandolin strung up in the white. Itís a black face, 100 year old red spruce top and tone bars. I think itís going to be a strong mandolin....

    Matt, my advice is, since you have a good ear, learn some breaks to songs that you would like play. Pick it out by ear and practice till you have it down. It will increase your musical vocabulary....

    I was the one that posted the thread about bone that I’d bought in Otto, NC. It was at Culpepper&co. near Franklin, NC. I bought enough bone knife scales for $20.00 to last me the rest of my life.

    Mike, I think the reason Ken isnít using the Orrico tailpiece is because you canít get them. I believe the guy quit making them.
