    No the top isnt quarter sawn but the first mandolin i made was the same stuff and it sounded pretty good

    Ive glued on the top now with a + shaped bracing now so I'll see how it goes

    Ok thanks. I think I'll put in the single transverse brace and maybe one or two more lighter braces just in case��
