I have not tried a blue chip yet... mostly because I’ve never seen one in a store and I like to see/feel it...

Your signature line has never we in a more appropriate thread. Describes Prince well.
I'm starting to dub this the year the music died. We have lost so much this year already.
I sing better with my eyes closed anyway.
Buy it if it sounds good.
I doubt anybody else will even notice.
a used Eastman 305 list for $75 more than you can get a new one..... what?
ok, the neck was almost speed necked....
still.
Is it just me or are they just hoping someone will pay that?
I do the 5578

I've never owned a martin.
But would actually be interested in what price point they would want to try to come in.
I think an offering in the $1000-$1,500 would play well for them.
Anything...
+1 to the old town Pi$kin$ Pa$loR being well pricey
Denver Folklore Center does a good job and is $lightly le$$.... $lightly
it'd be better if it were dancing bears. ;)
one guitar and one mandolin hanging on the wall. Safe and accessible.
Multiple others under the bed in cases.
But the ones that get played the most are on the wall.
Denver folk lore center
Old town pickin' parlor
I also have one and like the sound.
The finish on mine is actually pretty bad. The fit is good for the price range but the finish leaves a lot to be desired. There are stain smears and dip dots. ...

I have an art & luthrie guitar and a Godin Arch top guitar (both made in the seagull factory)
Those are always in tune. they build a solid product for sure.
Enjoy it.
The /6 drew my attention right away!!! That is a gorgeous bike.
Wait???? that would be my other MAS kicking in (motorcycle)
It could be that most people do not lightly hold a gun thereby increasing the surface area (pressing into the checkering), as well that checkering tends to be micro pyramids as apposed to a smoother...
seems to me that the new seagull would fit the bill
I agree with the less surface area the less friction theory.
I like the look of the speed neck because it's traditional.
But the above "system" is kinda cool.... kinda like quality checkering...
yep, it's as bad as the people selling a 5 figure ($$,$$$) instrument and only putting up one crappy slightly out of focus image of it.
I just use barre chords, which throws off a friend that I play with, but I like more of a percussive mutted/chunky strum pattern
Maybe I should look into Mandolin :)):mandosmiley::))
I think something to think about is how you wear the strap...
Over the right shoulder only or guitar style on the left shoulder with your head through it?
I say this because I find that with...
sierra hull is about the size of a 4 year old boy and she can paly a full size mando (or is that an oxymoron, full sized mando :) )
yes, information is much more accessible now.
yes, the low end instruments are much, much better....
but for the most part you had a much better mentor willing community than there is now. Are...
Quinn the eskimo covered by Old Crow MC
also saw the String Cheese Incident do a great newgrass cover of it and hot buttered Rum if my memory serves me but it could have been someone else
I think I'd actually rather have the poster. ;)
whomever the lucky bid winner is should get one of those poster to go with it.
If I had to guess, it would be that the frequency that they change strings makes using a leather strip or grommets less practical.
I pretty much only change strings when I have to.
