    I meant the heel end of the neck.. I usually cut the 6 degree on the end while it's still in billet form, hence my term neck block.Just wasn't thinking.

    I use the siminoff joint and cut the 6 degrees on the end of the neck block. Straight through 90 degrees on the body cutout. Works just fine.

    Check the truss rod nut, if it has one it could be loose. I've had them buzz because they had backed off and created a buzz.

    Yes, a regular HVLP sprayer works fine for paint. You have to thin it down though. And clean it very thoroughly if you intend on shooting clear coats at some point.Stay away from the cheap harbor...

    I've been using Gemini coatings lacquer for years. I don't see any signs it might be going away, for those who still enjoy nitro.
