    the truss rod cover looks wrong. it obscures some of the head stock inlay. could be a twenties or could be added later.

    looks beautiful but i bow to your expertise in bowl backs. i know next to nothing about bowl backs. but it would have fluted ribs if it was a top presentation model.

    for the unwound strings the coils stop the string pulling any further than necessary. i hate knots. they are awfull to undo
