    I make up sets for my Clark OM from Pearse PB singles. 20.5" scale.... .052, .034, .023, .013. The tailpiece takes ball end strings, but one could always remove the balls.

    Remember all that "French Polish" is a method or technique to apply a finish.... not "a finish"

    Shellac is the finish....processed bug poop, dissolved in alcohol, applied with a bit of oil added...
