Saw them in Albuquerque on the 16th of Oct. and Andrew was playing an A style Sullivan that was Sullivan's personal mando. Sounded good.
I have #14 and its a good strong mandolin. I also have played #10 & 15 and were both good. #14 may be for sale.

Looking for a source of reproduction 1920's case latches and locks. The new Master Model cases from Gibson seem to have new latches that look like the old ones. Any ideas?
I play upright and mando (not during the same song) in a folk band. A Toyota Highlander is my hauler. My bass instructor can haul her upright and her husband's banjo and a guitar in a Honda Fit!!...
Use naptha (lighter fluid). I have used it in my instrument repair shop to clean nicotine and other grime from lacquered surfaces.
