My new electric mandolin -- But it sure ain't me playin it.
I'm working on a prototype for an instrument I intend to build as a series so I asked around the shop I work for, "who plays mandolin?". I need some feedback from a player. I got damn lucky and was introduced to Eric Capers who is doing some fine evaluatin'. All I can do is noodle and play a few chords. Its so cool to see your instrument played in ways you couldn't dream of. The discussion of pros and cons is intense. The instrument wasn't intended to emulate anything. It was purposefully designed to employ what I know about electric guitars. I couldn't have found anyone better to work with than Eric.

I dig it! I was a bit confused by the first video, I was like, "wow, how do you find band members who all look like you?" And then I realized they didn't look similar but identical :))
