I just listened to it recently and thoroughly enjoyed it, Brad. I'd gotten behind on listening to your episodes, but this one reminded me to go back and get caught up.
In fact, I was inspired to hit up my local used record shop in search of some learning material. Found these gems this weekend. That oughta keep me busy for a minute.

Re: Mandolin Heroes Podcast
Made me want to find some more old stuff to listen to as well. I’ve got a decent Monroe library, but lacking in many others you mentioned. BTW, I was glad to hear mentioning Buck White! One of my favorite players.
Re: Mandolin Heroes Podcast
Brad, this was your all-time best episode ever!
Great selection of artists and recordings, too.
Re: Mandolin Heroes Podcast
Been meaning to start listening to your podcast, so this reminded me. I listened while I was doing some graphics work, very interesting and enjoyable. My cat came and sat on the adjacent chair. Same cat pictured listening in my avatar. Guess she likes the mandolin as much as I do. We both plan to listen again :mandosmiley:

Bradeasly (great name)
That is a good haul! You have one I don’t have.

Mark
You are right on Buck and building your Monroe library! So many are forgotten in this wave of 3rd and 4th generation pickers. Kinda overwhelming at times.
I hope you appreciated Bees In The Hive. Bill demonstrated for we mere mortals that one take is enough and a little flub makes no difference in the big picture.
Thanks, Mark
Brad
Re: Mandolin Heroes Podcast
Thank you Gina. Not sure it was the best—there was that much maligned “Nature” episode—but it is in the top 5 for sure.

Thank you Sue. Do listen. You may not learn much but you will be entertained.
My two cats were 40 feet up a pecan tree this morning at 6 am acting like they were going to kill each other. I guess it is in the air these days. And they are normally friendly.
Re: Mandolin Heroes Podcast
thanks for the reminder, I will check it out!
