Yes, but the K&K twin ain't cheap.
The damage to the mandolin is a few slivers of wood from the inside. It is not something that will effect anything or be seen. Yep it is still damage, but I have done more to the outside from playing than I could ever do by taking out a pickup.

There is also a double release paper covered adhesive .. peel one off to stick to the thing, to be attached,
then peel the other off, to stick it all to the other thing, you wanted to stick it onto..

there will be a noticeable decrease in output response, and possibly tone, if double sided tape is used instead of viscous gel super glue for any soundboard piezo non-pressure sensitive transducer installations.
