I am looking for the score for Peter's "Heart of the Heartland" in the key of D.
I found it on tin in G, but I want to play it in D.
Thanks for any help you can give.

I took the Nigel Gatherer G version from The Sessions in G, entered into Muse in G and then transposed to D.Attachment 203441
the file is PDF if it doesn't work just email me
Tim, thank you for converting it fr. G to D. I'll also work on playing it an octave lower too.
Monday night there was a concert to remember Peter Ostroushko in Minneapolis and "Heart of the Heartland was the last piece of the program, played by Richard Kriehn on mandolin and Dean Magraw on guitar. (Dean had played it originally with Peter.) Beautifully done.
OK here it is in D one octave lower
Weird that its not readily available in D. That's the key I play in when I play along with the recording.
its available now!
I have added the version in D to my site now:

Can I give you all a heads-up for Nigel's site. http://www.nigelgatherer.com/tunes/ It is a treasure chest of tunes covering many styles and including lots of tunes which are hard to find elsewhere. Nigel is a mandolin and whistles player and runs excellent workshops and classes here in Scotland. His mixed instrument workshops (Mixter Maxters) are always great fun and quite inspiring and many friendships have been made through attendance at them. My most recent one was a two-day workshop based in Cairnbaan in Argyll, about sixty miles from my home. I posted my version over on the SAW Group of a tune he taught there, When Summer Ends. Thanks for the link to Nigel's tunes, John. It's throwing a 403 error, so use this link instead: http://www.nigelgatherer.com/tunes.html
Thanks, Bruce. I have problems at times with a timeout when accessing Nigel's site. Slow internet speeds in my area. Also, you can get warnings about security at times but the site is quite safe.
Actually John, I noticed that too, and I'm on a robust fibre connection. Must be an issue with the server host.
I haver just installed an SSL certificate on my site, so I'm hoping that will solve some of the problems people have been suffering. The site should not display "Not Secure" any more. Fingers crossed!
I'm getting the "not secure" message. Maybe reboot your server? Also, unable to connect at all when going through a VPN.
