Fields of Gold (for plucked trio)
This is an arrangement I have been working on this summer, finally got round to recording all the parts today.
The mandolin is a 10 string Old Wave. Beautiful instrument, not the loudest oval hole ever, but beautiful thick tone. Played with a heavy gauge Red Bear Pick.
The guitar is a custom Brook Tavy (made in Devon) in CGCGCD tuning. The bass is also a Brook.

Very nicely done, Robbie - I really enjoyed the listen! Some great sounds in there!

Beautiful arrangement and recording, Robbie. Fine playing too! The guitar tuning is interesting too ,and adds a lot to the over-all sound.

Really interesting voicings/range. Dark, full, nicely balanced arrangement.
Nice bridge or ?, (section before verse), complimentary counter melody?
Well done!
