"Musica Poetica" by Attika
As often happens, I came across this cd of classical music on the Cafe. Maybe Victor Kioulaphides wrote about it. He told me how to order a copy. I got a package from Italy (a first for me) with the cd in it, and I like it a lot. It celebrates the poetry of Nikiforos Vrettakos (1912-1991), and before each classical selection, a poem of the poet is read,
first in Greek and then in English. I loved hearing a language I knew nothing about and had never heard spoken. The classical pieces, there are 8 of them, are well played too.
For me, a very special cd.

I have to correct what I wrote! The cd came from Greece!

Thank you a lot Nick for your good words. Let me share with all of you our official video for Barcarolle (from the "Tales of Hoffman") of Offenbach. Enjoy!

Wonderful! I had the pleasure of attending one of ATTIKA's live performances last February, and was delighted to hear this, and many other works as played by these excellent musicians. I am so very proud of all of them, and all the great work that they do!
Three cheers for ATTIKA!
