Norman has been such an influence on me with both his guitar and mandolin playing. I had the pleasure to spend time with him, Nancy & James during the Rising Fawn Ensemble days. Partied and picked with the group. My favorite jam was in the bus outside the Cat's Cradle in Chapel Hill. They got warmed up and went in the venue to perform. We carried on afterwards. Those were the days..... Happy Birthday my friend.
