Nice case! Someone like this company could take over production of Collings cases...
I wonder if this company makes cases for other mandolins especially Neapolitan Bowlbacks. Bill: can you find out more info on the company that makes them?
I have more information on this bowlback case. They are made by Antonio Miguel Gonzalez in Spain, as I posted earlier.
If you are interested in a case like mine, they run about 260€ plus shipping. Cases can also be made to order, but you'd have to contact the maker for specific pricing. PM me for email information if you are interested. Here are a couple additional photos including one of the hinges. I particularly like this design. If one of these needed to be replaced, it would be a simple matter of unscrewing the broken hinge, instead of having to pull away the case lining and drill out rivets.
