Sounds great Don, and another great original tune.

Great tune Don! Sounds PRO! Although, I think you do a pretty PRO job yourself.:mandosmiley:
Re: Another Original Tune
Really Great stuff Don!
I have to ask what inspires you to write? I haven't written anything in a long time.

Re: Another Original Tune
Appreciate all your comments!
Dave Hanson: Pultecs are tube EQs. You could buy a Gilchrist with what the guy has in tube gear for mastering. Really imparts some richness to the tones. Not sure any of that comes through once youtube mangles it.
Tim: A lot of times I'm just noodling and a little melodies will pop out. I grab the recorder and capture them and then see if they lead anywhere. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Really pleased with what the others added to the arrangement, and what the mastering did to tones.
Re: Another Original Tune
Thanks for kind permission to post the TAB Don.
Hope this is about right, (corrections welcomed), love the harmonising improv on C and D parts, modal changes and slightly crooked call and response rhythm.
Classic tune.

Don’s inspiration might be implied by the tune’s title. :whistling:
Re: Another Original Tune
Hello Don, missed this on the first go 'round. Another nice tune, cool arrangement and playing. And the video and pics are top-notch. Larry
Re: Another Original Tune
Thanks to both Don for writing such a cool tune for the mandola and for Simon to post the ABC to get me started! And, as always, great visuals, Don!

I've got the opening riff but I'm not familiar with this format of tab. Is there an explanation somewhere?
...and really cool tune Don.
Re: Another Original Tune
You paste it here set, mandolin tab, A4 paper, SUBMIT, and then download a pdf with notation and TAB.
