Can anyone help? I recently got Regal Mandolin for restoration, It's about two feet long, 8 1/2 wide, 8 strings, flat backed. Any help is appreciated. I have photos but don't where to attach it to. Looking for a site to compare. Thanks.

Without pictures of your instrument this is basically an impossible challenge. Regal made a whole lot of instrument styles. The brand name has undergone at least three if not more iterations where it was owned by different companies.
You got that right Mike.
See if this from our FAQ helps.
OP posted also on Facebook mandolin group. Here's one photo.

If someone is paying to restore that I hope it has great sentimental value because the monetary value will never justify the work.
If the case is a hard shell case and fits a Martin mandolin it has value. That mandolin on it's own in good shape is probably less than $100.00. Find that guy that says it's worth 7 to 8 and I'll part with one in much better shape that belonged to my uncle.
