Re: My very musical couch...
Nice collection. Are you doing ok?
Re: My very musical couch...
For some, Social Distancing was already a way of life...
Re: My very musical couch...
Not like this. It's one thing not to want to go out, but it is an entirely different thing not the be "allowed" out.
Re: My very musical couch...
I am doing fine, thank you, other than the complete loss of my income. That part is a bummer, to say the least. But as a musician, it's not like we expect good things from life financially, for the most part ;)
As I have shared here before, I run multiple open mics every week, and I *really* miss my music family, which, for the most part, is the only family I have. Add to that that I am a hugger, and this social distancing bull sugar can go... ah, we all know what it can go and do!
Anyway, my original post was in jest and an attempt at humor. Playing live on FB pretty much every day has been good for my soul, and I'm grateful for the technology that allows it.
I hope you all are well!
Re: My very musical couch...
Trouble with social distancing is that it comes more naturally to banjo players!

Good, we were worried:)
Leo Kottke tells a story about a classical cellist whose instrument started talking to him. So he smashed this multimillion dollar Stradivari or Guarneri cello to bits. But the pieces kept talking to him. He needed serious psychiatric hospitalization and medication. Don't know if it's true but it is a good story when Kottke tells it.
Re: My very musical couch...
Oh wow, yeah, no, I'm nowhere to that level of THAT FAR GONE :D
Re: My very musical couch...
I thought it was obviously "an attempt at humor"...in fact, I laughed.
