Joe Walsh Interview - NMC, the other Joe Walsh
Los Angeles College of Music. One of the best interviews I've seen in recent years, largely because the interviewer just lets Joe take all the time in the world to thoughtfully answer every question in depth. An interesting mini-biography. Warning: Joe is s-l-o-w to speak, but his responses are gold. Worth the hour.

Many thanks for this Mark. Joe's a pretty slow speaker, but there's no 'wasted words' in anything he says. I read the newspaper article a few days ago in which Timothy B.Schmidt was talking about how ''The Eagles'' are no more. They were my favourite band in ''any genre, ever''. I was hoping that they could maybe find another musician to join them & sort of re-hash 'who did what' in the band. Joe,Timothy & Don Henley are still very capable vocalists - but............ !!!,:(

My thoughts exactly, Ivan. What he has to say is of great value, either biographically, or musically. One of the best recent interviews about the music business, too. Probably because they just hushed and let him speak.

Hi Mark - I watched the whole of the interview yesterday - the guy's even more amzing than i ever thought !!. I agree, one of the finest interviews of anybody inside the music business. Joe's my wife's favourite 'Eagle'. Unfortunately for Joe,his 'wild' reputation preceded him when he first joined The Eagles. A good friend & fellow Eagle enthusiast thought he'd be a disaster - he proved him & anybody else wrong in that.
It took great courage for Joe to pull himself 'back from the brink' as he did when he was into 'bad things' - no one can do it for you. Eric Clapton did much the same, & that's why those 2 guys are two of my greatest 'guitar heroes' - if you can have heroes' at 72 years of age !!.
Respect !!!!!!!,
Ivan;)

Joe Walsh pre-Eagles was part of the soundtrack of my youth. In the 90's I feared his wild ways had resulted in brain damage. I'm glad to hear that, even though slowed, he is as articulate as ever.

As he was mine, Roger. Who could forget the gawd-awful western Zachariah with soundtrack including The James Gang and Doug Kershaw?
I was blown away by the interview. Articulate, insightful and humble.

"Where's the link?"
~ Charlie, I don't understand what link you're talking about. The video is embedded ... you can watch it here or you can follow it to YouTube by clicking the little youtube icon in the bottom right of the player once you start the player ... or if for some reason you can't see the video player in your browser as it is embedded in this post, here is a link to the YouTube site location for this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvFZjB7xUpY
Is that what you're asking for?
