Mandobird bridge saddle set screws
Hi all,
Newbie to the electric side here.
I just picked up a mandobird iv for cheap, and one thing I've noticed is the bridge saddle height adjustment hex screws stick up a bit and tend to snag/scrape the heel of my hand when strumming.
Any tricks to minimize this other than altering attack angle/technique?
Thanks!
Re: Mandobird bridge saddle set screws
Just order some shorter screws and replace them. Easiest way to cure it and cheap too.
Re: Mandobird bridge saddle set screws
Any suggestions for where to order from? I doubt my local hardware store has anything like them, and I don't know the thread count or diameter.

Your local hardware may have them or amazon or eBay have loads for sale. Here’s a list of common sizes you can probably buy many at the hardware store. You can always take one with you to get the right size Attachment 173633

I hate when they stick up. You can Dremel and file them. For my 4-sting Mandobird, I bought a set of Graphtech saddles, which came with properly sized height screws. I like them very much.
