We need to await further info. on this material. It's new,& i'd bet that the developers don't know much about it yet. The developers of the 'super carbon' material ''Graphene'',are still discovering things about it 14 years after it's discovery,

The material that impressed me for tonewood substitute is the Ekoa used to make Blackbird ukes and guitars. I believe it is made from linen fibers and resin of some sort. The one uke I played sounded great.
