SKB Case for 1918 Gibson A Mandolin?
Does anyone have experience with this case, in terms of fitting a teens A -model.

The other one I'm looking at is a Golden Gate:

I can't say for sure about the two cases you have mentioned, but a Guardian CG-020 MA should fit.

Haven't tried the SKB. I do have a Road Runner from GC https://www.guitarcenter.com/Road-Ru...ndolin-Case.gc
Use it with my 1929 A Jr. The neck rest is in the perfect spot for an old Gibson A. The body opening is a bit large so there is some sliding around. I just put the strap around the mandolin and am ready to go.
The Golden Gate might work, but just by eyeball, the neck rest might be too far up.

I keep my 1919 A2 in a modern, tweed covered F style case. Fits perfectly

Just for the record, and in case others with the same question find this post -
Neither the SKB or Golden Gate mentioned in my original post work for a Gibson A paddle head. It's the wider head that's the problem.
Settled on this one - it's bulky. but if fits no trouble:
