I don't know of any tab/notation for this great oldie but goodie but its not too hard, use double stops for ease, get your D chord and use double stop starting point, middle finger on D string 7th fret and first finger on A string 5th fret. hit then use D string 9th fret and back, a little trem. then drop your first and middle-first finger E string 5th fret, middle finger A string 7th fret, hammer from middle to ring finger on A string to 9th fret, a little trem. walk down on A string 9,7,5 a bit of tremolo drop down first and middle, 1st finger on E string 5th fret, middle on A string 7th fret tremolo to 9th on A string move back same two fingers to a G double stop, 1st finger 3rd fret E string, middle on A string 5th fret-do the same type walk and tremolo and with some fooling around you can get it!
If you do it in E just move the same fingers up? This is me going by memory and I'm for sure no teacher but maybe this will help? If not I'm sure someone can explain a bit easier? Great tune!
If you find nothing else, there's a fiddle tab/notation for it at bluegrassdaddy.com, but it's not free
Here's a guitar tab with notation of the melody that should work just as well for mandolin. Good Luck!
I hope you find it. I found this....beautiful song! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ziZD2FBHy2Q
