Chord notation questions re + - and o

I found this chart online with + and - on some chords and want to check and make sure I am interpreting correctly.

A-7 = Aminor7
E- = Eminor
B+ = B Aug (triad with sharp 5th)
E-6 = E minor 6 (never heard of it, would be a minor chord with added 6th?)

There is also G and a triangle with I know is Gmajor7.

Then there is G#dim, C#o, and F#o with a line through the circle. I'm not sure how they differ. I know dim and dim7 chords and think the little o is one of those but I don't know why it would include all three and what difference there is for the o with a slash.

My guess on "o" is it is dim7 and "dim" is dim triad with no 7th. But I done know what the slash o is.

That clears up the o slash. I guess the only doubts are why both dim and "o" are used. And I ain't never seen a -6 before.

Slash o is half diminished AKA min7b5. root, b3, b5 and b7. Full diminished is root, b3, b5 and bb7 (double flat 7th)

Darol Anger is listed under violin and there's a single cello player, David Baker.

In a theory class there's a distinction between the diminished triad (g#-b-d) and the diminished seventh chord (g#-b-d-f). But in my long experience I've never seen a pop or jazz arranger actually use the triad. So it's pretty common to see "dim", "dim7", "o", and "o7" all referring to the four-note chord.

It's a funny one isn't it? The 6th scale degree of the harmonic minor and the aeolian mode / natural minor are flattened while in the melodic minor and dorian mode the 6th is natural - or unflattened. The minor 6th chord is used in Blue Bossa - C minor 6th and is associated with C dorian - ie with the unflattened 6th scale degree. But I'm not sure if that is what is always implied by minor 6th.

1-b3-5-6. So E-6 would be E-G-B-C#. If you decide to drop a note drop the B.

I'm not going to worry about the diff between dim, o, dim7, and o7 and assume I can do whatever fits. I get the o slash (half-diminished now.

Eø7 = Em7b5 (half-diminished)

the slash (Eø7) notation tends to be used in classical. Jazzers will use m7b5

Cm6 = C Eb G A = C minor triad with a major 6th change the root to A (A C Eb G) and its Am7b5 (or Aø7)
