Listen to CMSA playing "Magnificent Mountain" at the convention!
The composer of "Magnificent Mountain", Robert Lunn, posted the audio to the premier performance by the Classical Mandolin Society of America last week. Hearing it on this link is amazing--sitting in the middle of the mandocello section as I did was breathtaking!

A dramatic piece and it was captivating the whole way through. I noticed that the mandola part was in treble cleff, I suppose that's easier reading. (for me at least).
Very cool.
Thanks Phil and the CMSA orchestra. This rocks!

Sounds fabulous!!! And looking at the music, the tremolo is wonderful! I am inspired to try to go some year when it's close - the music would be a bit of a stretch (my tremolo isn't very good yet,) but I would love to play in a group like that!
