    I love that jaunty look with the slanted pickups. Cool! I have an app called Dolby On that improves cell phone fidelity. I use it a lot for recording.

    Part of the neck length issue for electric mandolins is related to pickup placement, as discussed above. To my mind, I also don't want to hear a fretted electric instrument playing super high notes....
